The pastors will be preaching each week from the passages provided by Living the Word: Teaching God's Story.  There are daily passages to follow along with and read as part of your daily devotions, which you can find here:

Pastor's Bible Study

Thursdays | 9:00 am | Library & Zoom
Pastor Clint and Pastor Jason will offer a Bible Study based on the Scripture that will be used as the preaching focus for the upcoming Sunday. The Bible Study will be offered in the Library and via Zoom on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am.

Jumpstart prayer

Mondays | 7:30-8:30 am 
 This prayer gathering will take place in the Memorial Garden as weather allows and will move to the Historic Chapel upon inclement weather.

Men's Morning Covenant Group
Mondays | 9:00 am 
Men gather to enjoy fellowship and Bible Study. Leadership is shared week to week, and the conversation is consistently lively with this bunch of folks! 

Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study
Wednesdays | 10:30 am | Library & Zoom
Women gather to study the Bible every Wednesday morning. The women are using the Covenant Questions for each week. The study is facilitated by Sherry Stiles, though leadership is shared by many participants.  Expect lots of laughter and animated conversation about the Bible.

Young at Heart 
2nd Thursdays 11:30 am, Fellowship Hall
Begins October 13th. A time to connect for those retirement age and older, meal will be included and communicated if it will be potluck or catered. Young at Heart will meet  from October-May in Fellowship Hall.  Each month will feature a guest speaker and program of interest. 

Bodies in Motion 
Tuesdays at 11 am, Children's Music Room 
Planning to begin October 18. Have you ever laughed through an exercise class? Join us for Bodies in Motion and find out what it's like to enjoy exercise! Bodies in Motion meets every Tuesday at 11 am for an hour of fun.

Women's IF: Saturdays

Come and join us as we gather for Scripture, teaching, discussion, connection, prayer, and food on Saturday mornings from 9:00-10:30 am in the Canfield Room. Bring a friend along and come get to know other women in our church family in a greater way.

If you are looking for a way to deepen your relationship with Christ by spending time in the Word everyday and connecting with other women through this process, consider a First Pres She Reads Truth group. These groups use the daily reading plans from She Reads Truth to guide us in becoming a woman in the Word of God every day. These Scripture reading plans range from two to six-week sessions, depending on the study, and include a weekly podcast. First Pres Women then gather to discuss the readings – what they have learned, questions they may have, and how God is speaking to them through the Scriptures. WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY

Women’s Bible Study - Wednesday mornings at 10:30, hybrid format (in-person and Zoom), led by  Sherry Stiles. Come dig into our weekly Scripture passage that guides our Sunday worship, the questions can be found in our FYI newsletter. You can just show up to this group - no RSVP required!

IF: Gathering : Spring 2023, more information will be shared soon. This is a livestreamed event that takes place at First Pres on Friday night and Saturday.  It is a time of worship, hearing from excellent national speakers, along with great food and fellowship.  

Every Man a Warrior
Every Man A Warrior is a discipleship Bible study that “Helps Men Succeed in Life."  It helps them win the battles they fight every day.  EMAW has been offered through the life of First Pres Maumee for the past 4 years, equipping more than 20 men with the skills necessary to succeed in life.  If you would like to learn more about becoming the husband, father, and man that God created you to be, contact Pastor Clint Tolbert for more information.

Guys' Night Out
2nd Thursdays | 6:00 pm |Charlie's in Maumee
First Pres Maumee men meet once a month for sports talk, “fellaship,” and maybe some friendly jokes. The only studying at this event is the menu.

Annual LobsterFest
Fall of each year
Once a year in the late summer, the guys get together for a hearty meal in the outdoors. If you want a steak, you'll season and grill it yourself. No complaints to the chef.
