9:15 am (Concurrent with Modern Service) | Children's Wing

After singing with their families at the beginning of the modern service at 9:00 am, children age 4 to fifth grade will be invited to engage Scripture together in Children’s Church beginning at 9:15 am. Families who worship at the traditional service are encouraged to bring their children at 9:15 am if you would like them to attend Children’s Church. Child-appropriate activities will be available for children who remain with their families during the traditional service.

Children of all ages are instructed using the TRU Curriculum. Through TRU, our children are introduced to God’s incredible plan. Children will explore Scripture chronologically. Every lesson will be centered on God, and during each lesson, space is created to encourage the children to respond to God in worship through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In September 2018, a full remodel of our Children’s Wing will be completed. In the last 18 months, the number of children at First Presbyterian Maumee has risen considerably. In view of this growth spurt, we have renovated the facilities of our children’s ministry to provide a safe, flexible, and fun environment for continued discipleship.

In the newborn-3 year-old nursery on the second floor, children will have their own age-appropriate bible lesson and activity. The nursery is open for both services. The nursery is open to children newborn-3-year-olds. The exception to this policy will be during the Traditional Service, when the nursery is available to newborns to 4-year-olds.
