First Pres Maumee considers it a great privilege to walk alongside couples as they begin their lives together in holy marriage. We want to be more than just a venue for your wedding, we want to be the place where a couple begins their married life together. We believe that marriage can serve as a dynamic symbol of God's love for God's people and is, therefore, a great testimony and blessing to the world (Ephesians 5:21-33).
Our pastors perform Christian weddings which marry a man and a woman who are making lifelong vows in love, service, and mutual support. Because we view marriage with such a high regard, we invest significantly in the preparation for marriage and ask the couple to do the same.
