Sunday, March 01, 2020, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Join our church family for an exciting night at the Toledo Walleye Hockey on Sunday, March 1. We will be running the Chuck-A-Puck table and will receive a profit based on our sales that will go toward the Compassion Survival program in the Dominican Republic. Tickets are available for $17 each; forms are available in the Church Office and at the Information Desk in the Gathering Space. To grab your ticket, fill out the form here and turn it, along with your payment, in to Jeanette Axford or at the Church Office. We have 125 tickets available to us, so please invite your friends and family to join in our fun!
All the proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to the Compassion Survival Program, which is a program for the physical and mental health of prenatal through age three babies and mothers in the Dominican Republic. The program equips pregnant women and mothers to provide the love, care, and practical support their little ones need. At age 1, each child is automatically transitioned into the Child Sponsorship Program through Compassion.
Another special part of the evening will be member Tom Fraser's (Toledo Walleye Chaplain) Q&A session. Church members will have the opportunity to hear from select Walleye players about their experiences with their faith throughout their careers.
We will need 6-8 volunteers to assist with Chuck-A-Puck tables. Children and youth are welcome to assist while accommodated by an adult. We will have 2 shifts available:
4:00-5:30 pm - Before the Game
5:30-6:30 pm - During Intermission
Please contact Jeanette Axford at (419) 893-0223 if you would like to volunteer. Volunteers will meet in the Jefferson Lobby at 3:30 pm.
