Current Mission Opportunities
For mission-related opportunities, contact Assistant Pastor Jason Armstrong at
Meet the church’s local and global mission partners via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, beginning on September 14. From 6:30-7:30 pm, we will learn about one of our mission partner’s successes and challenges, with the opportunity to ask questions and pray together. Calls will be hosted by mission elders Karla Lewis and John Sluhan and Assistant Pastor Jason Armstrong. Zoom information is listed in the Fall Ministries Booklet.
On September 28, our Mission Monday will include missionary Dan McNeary. As an Associate Director of Frontier Fellowship, a mission support group serving churches worldwide, Dan advances the Good News of Jesus Christ to unreached people wherever they are found. We hope you can join us as we learn about Dan's mission work!

Adults - Sept. 8, Oct. 6, Dec. 2, Jan. 5, Mar. 2, Apr. 6
Under One Roof Food Pantry
Volunteers are needed for this mission that serves the hungry in Maumee. Volunteer opportunities are available in fulfilling orders or administrative tasks. For those interested in fulfilling orders, the pantry has openings on Mondays and Thursdays. If you would like to answer phones, return phone calls, and perform data entry, the pantry seeks assistance on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Each volunteer is asked to commit to 2 hours every other week.
Mosaic Ministries Tutoring
Volunteer teachers and tutors are needed to support students in grades K-8 at Mosaic Ministries due to Toledo Public School beginning the school year virtually. Students will be able to complete their school work with the aid of caring adults.
The Pregnancy Center has a continual need for baby blankets. They give one to each woman once their pregnancy is confirmed. Baby blankets should be new and gender neutral. They can be either store bought or homemade. You can bring your baby blanket into the church office and we will deliver to the center.
Water for Ishmael (WFI)
Volunteers are needed to tutor elementary students of Toledo-area internationals as schools continue to use virtual technology this fall. The commitment involves tutoring one morning a week at WFI. Tutoring will be available Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Additional volunteer opportunities include assisting WFI in fulfilling their mission to build a welcoming community for Toledo-area internationals while sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ as they are empowered with skills to become successful.

First Pres Maumee masks are available in the Gathering Space for a donation. The masks are available in adult, young adult, child, and small child, and made with 2 layers of 100% cotton material. The money donated for the masks will be going to our mission projects.
