COVENANT PARTNERSHIP

We affirm those who want to enter into a Covenant Relationship, just as God did with his people throughout the Biblical story and culminating with Christ’s sacrifice. We encourage each person who believes, to profess their Covenant Relationship at First Pres Maumee as soon as their heart is prepared. Entering into Covenant Partnership means a commitment to these values:

WORSHIP

We gather as a church family to worship our Holy God, to support and encourage one another, and to witness to the world around us, through singing, prayer, and listening to his holy word.

SERVICE

As the church, we are the body of Christ, called to serve one another and the world around us. We want to help you find a place to use your gifts for God's glory.

GIVING

We are called to give of our resources and our time. We encourage those who join with us as covenant partners to give regularly in both of these ways.

PERSONAL GROWTH

We are encouraged as followers of Christ, to grow in faith, knowledge, and understanding through the study of Scripture and the practice of prayer.

When you are ready to make this your church home, we invite you to join a Next Steps group, a Bible Study led by a trained leader, designed to share more with you about the vows we take when we join the church. This is also an opportunity to get to know others who are new in the church as you encourage each other and share prayer together.
